Once again, the Philharmonia Orchestra presents an unmissable evening of music at London’s top classical music venue, the Royal Festival Hall, and you can get tickets for just £15 each! The programme opens with ‘Maan Varjot’, an organ piece jointly commissioned by Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Orchestre National de Lyon, Southbank Centre and the Philharmonia Orchestra and described as 'rich and powerful'.

Following this beautiful three-movement piece, and in keeping with the Finnish theme, is Sibelius’s ‘Violin Concerto in D minor’. One of the most popular works ever written for the violin, this early twentieth century piece will be played by one of the world’s most sought-after violinists, Lisa Batiashvili. Conducted by celebrated Finnish composer and conductor, Esa-Pekka Salonen, this evening is guaranteed to be a great one.
