More details:

The word ‘classic’ is overused in dramatic criticism but sometimes its usage is unavoidable. ‘Twelve Angry Men’ is a tale that deserves to be coupled with the adjective in question and many more words of praise besides.

Writer Reginald Rose’s story is a deceptively simple tale in which the eponymous gentlemen of a jury must decide if an ostensibly guilty young man has murdered his father. An atmosphere of almost unbearable tension inhabits the story from the outset as prejudices are revealed, alliances are formed and truths about human nature are meticulously investigated. If intelligent, compelling dramas with real heart are your thing, look no further. This new production directed by Christopher Haydon has been lauded by many and pays tribute to the must-see 1957 movie, which was produced by and starred Henry Fonda.
